The residence in the hills is the synthesis between the pursuit of landscape harmony and the articulation of simple volumes, carefully ‘excavated’, in order to capture the seasonal variations of light, shadows and the surrounding green environment. Inside, all the materials used are poor but ennobled by human creativity such as the Venetian Terrazzo, in which waste from the marble processing is skilfully worked up to obtain a valuable, monolithic flooring, in which the materiality of the natural materials as the light changes.
